The Barclays Arena contractors illuminate the entire rail yard (from Vanderbilt Ave to 6th Ave 2 avenue blocks long) video shows workers underpinning a wall in the very north east end of the rail yard at the corner of Atlantic Ave & Vanderbilt Ave and video also show that the workers are using localized lighting; so why does the entire rail yard need to be illumined?
The use of the Long Island Rail Road rail yards high intensity sodium flood lights make residents inside the 171 unit residential building @ 700 Pacific St and Carlton Ave residents exposed to extreme excess light pollution for residents at all hours of the night.
