Continued unanswered complaints from the ESD from residents’ of Atlantic Yards dump/delivery trucks still using not official truck routes but public streets around arena [not isolated incidents] @ the last 78th Precinct CB6 meeting residents also complained to Captain AMERI that ALL types of truck traffic including dump trucks has dramatically increased in CB6. 2012-05-04 Barclays Arena dump truck on residential Dean St 9:30pm Friday night.

00:03 dump truck using air horn on ‘not a truck route’ @ 9:30pm attracts attention & he notices now he is being video taped
00:45 notice how the Barclays Arena dump truck wheels are in bike lane and same with other traffic throughout the entire video
01:18 B65 bus comes in view
01:35 drivers honk horns because of blocked traffic
In the video note that this Barclays Arena dump truck is traveling next to a heavily traveled bike lane & the amount of pedestrian residential traffic around Dean St especially because there is the Dean St children’s playground & park between Carlton Ave & 6th Ave. Note the amount of congestion in the video!! Traveling on any night on Dean St is extremely dangerous for bikes or pedestrians because of the continued illegal ‘double parked’ cars from the Church of the Restoration that causes ALL vehicular traffic to travel in the bike lane. What will happen with this double parking on Barclays Arena event nights?
